Melissa - Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor Melissa has been in the fitness field for many years and is a true passion in her life. She has done everything from training choreography for fitness instructors to implementing various styles of step, kickbox, hip hop/aerobics, pilates, and yoga as a well rounded, nationally certified fitness instructor. She has a MVCC college accredited certificate as a health and fitness technician, certifications in personal, group, and athletic training. She also has a MVCC college accredited certificate as a massage therapist and will be nationally licensed this fall. She has an Associates Degree in Science and will have a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Science with an emphasis on nutrition by this summer. She is enrolled to complete two doctorates in the fields of Chiropractic and Naturopathic medicine in the following years to come from the National University of Health Sciences. Melissa was also a Performace Team member of Chicag Fitness and Dance for Mayor Daley Xsport Team. She has done promotional fitness modeling and is a former State Pageant winner and Miss International Pageant Finalist.

Connie - Group Fitness Instructor Connie has been practicing yoga since 2001 and has personally witnessed its transformative effects. A Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher from Yoga Fit Training Systems in Chicago, Connie's intention in teaching yoga is to promote a healthy lifestyle both physically, mentally, and spiritually. Her Hatha Yoga class will challenge your body and leave you with positive energy and gratitude for life. Each class she strives to help each student meet their true potential. She emphasizes breath-synchronized movement, proper body alignment, meditation, and temple massage with aromatherapy. She instructs the alignment principles of Hatha Yoga to create an inner journey towards healing, self-awareness, acceptance, positive energy and empowerment by candlelight. She holds certifications in Step/Aerobics, Keiser Cycling, Bosu, Strong and Resist-a-ball. Her enjoyment is teaching Kickboxing, strength training, interval training, and bootcamp. Marla loves to share her passion for staying healthy and fit and hopes to encourage others to achieve their own personal goals. Tami is an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor along with certifications in Zumba. Tami has been involved in the fitness industry for many years, therefore, she teaches her classes the way she would like to be taught, with high energy, lots of fun and motivation. She loves teaching Zumba because it is the type of class that is non-intimidating and you just enjoy the rhythmns of the music, and before you know it, you are asking, "is it over already?" (and you don't even realize the intense, calorie-burning workout you just accomplished!)
