CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

AOA-ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS:
Move through a variety of exercises designed to increase aerobic conditioning, improve muscular strength, range of motion, and skills required during activities of daily living. Low impact moves, hand weights, and exercise bands are offered for resistance.

BARRE:
A combination of postures inspired by Ballet, Yoga and Pilates. Light handheld weights are often used for isometric strength training combined with highreps of small range of motion movements. A barre, or other support can be used for balance. Suitable for all levels of fitness.

BT BIKING:
Combine intense total body strength work with cardio intervals on the bikes and you get a Body Tech style power hour. Class format: 15 minutes Cycle, 15 minutes strength (weights, lunges, etc), 15 minutes core strengthening and stretching.

CARDIO CONDITIONING EXPRESS:
An extreme cardio workout for the total body, Incorporating a variety of formats such as Bootcamp, Kickbox, Circuit, and Tabata…will Guarantee to push you to your limits! Classes will consist of targeting strength, core, stability, cardio, plyometrics, and agility. This is an Express class…only 45 minutes in duration…don’t let that fool you!

CORE PLUS MORE:
A combination of traditional body sculpting methods, using free weights, resistance bands, balls and your own body. This class focuses on low impact cardio, strength, movement and balance challenges through the use of your core muscles. We will work on abs, back, glutes, shoulders, and more. A strong core leads to a strong body, better posture, and a general self awareness. Sculpt your midsection as you improve your overall functional strength, balance, coordination.

CYCLE INTERVAL:
Burn fat while increasing strength thru intervals of high and low intensities using the bikes and strength equipment.

CYCLING:
Indoor cycling in a group format. The instructor leads you through a ride consisting of techniques, levels and visualization of being on the open road. Work at your own level. New riders arrive early to set up your bike.

EVERYBODY’S BOOTCAMP:
An extreme military – inspired workout, built on the fundamentals of cardio, strength, core, and agility. With a mix of cardio and strength building Circuits with little rest, this bootcamp will target your whole body to burn as much fat as possible.

GUNS, BUNS &CORE:
If your looking to sculpt those arms, lift and firm those glutes, and strengthen that core…this is your class!

KETTLEBELL STRENGTH & BURN:
For all fitness & age levels, this 45 minute class uses Kettlebells to promote functional strength & muscular endurance. Classes begin with a dynamic Warm up followed by 10-15 minutes of instruction in proper technique of required movements & their progressions to prepare each individual for a 20-30 minute total body workout. Each class offers a unique combination of strength exercises & kettlebell movements for a fun, low impact workout That challenges your strength & burns calories!

KICKBOX BOOTCAMP:
Do you like to punch, kick and sweat? Develop strong core and great skills as you burn calories in a fun, motivating way. Complete killer Body workout that will make you come back for more.

MUSCLE CONDITIONING/STEP:
Geared toward muscle sculpting and toning using bands, dumbbells, bars, etc. This class alternates with the complete cardio step workout to give the ultimate fat-burning, low impact, high intensity workout.

PILATES:
Gain flexibility while toning your body and tightening your core. Varied breathing techniques will also help to tighten those abs!

PILATES STRETCH:
A combination of traditional Pilates and every day stretches geared to prevent injury, put your body back in proper alignment and fix your posture. A slower, more relaxed class for all levels.

PIYO:
Combines the muscle sculpting, core firming benefits of Pilates with strength and flexibility of flowing yoga movements. You’ll use your body weight to Perform a series of continuous, targeted moves to define every single muscle big and small.

POWER PUMP:
One hour class to teach proper lifting techniques using barbells and plates. Designed to firm, tone, strengthen and define muscles of the arms, shoulders, abs, chest, back, and legs.

STRECHING 101:
A 10 minute cardio warm up followed by 35 minutes of Flexibility training with the use of bands, balls, etc, stretch education and techniques, and Do’s and don’ts of stretching.

YOGA FOR ATHLETES / BOW SPRING YOGA:
A new method to the yoga scene that is active, fun, challenging & healing. This yoga class is for any level yogi. No matter what age or how flexible or inflexible you are, The Bow Spring Method builds strength to the larger muscles while releasing fascia, creating a stronger overall body, improved posture and a sense of calm to the central nervous system. Get ready to spring into action with Bow Spring.

YOGA SLOW FLOW:
Yoga Flow is comprised of an intelligent, dynamic sequence of flowing yoga postures linked together with breathing. Experience an increase in energy and strength while building heat. Learn to refine postures and deepen your connection to your body.

ZUMBA:
This class is a fusion of Latin, Hip-Hop and International music-dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. The routines performed in Zumba focus on the core as well as total body toning. This is a 45 minute cardio class for ages, body types and fitness leveles. This class can be an intense cardio workout that is also extremely fun!!!
